    Last Episode of the Sopranos
Okay might be some spoilers here so stop reading.................

But what the fuck kinda ending was that. I'm gonna be a big fat fanboy but christ that wasn't an ending that wa a cut to black. Some great moments in the finale though, funny, suspenseful, not at all what I thought it would be. He(Chase) always does the anti-climax, he tide up alot of loose ends but definitely not all like will Sil get out of the coma and what the fuck happens to Tony! Anyway its over, 8 years 86 episodes, the only show I ever rushed home to watch or postponed going out because it was on. Favourite moment in the whole run and there were some great moments but the one that really blew me away was the death of Adriana, it wasn't even a season finale. I'm gonna become such a Sopronas fanboy now, pouring over episodes, arguing pointlessly online, going to conventions okay maybe not that far. Anyway at least the finale was better then Godfather 3!
    Goodnight.

    Ratpack
Yes the video that has taken a few years off my life is finally availble on you-tube. Still lots of issues with the fur but the digital effects people really saved my ass on a lot of shots and Charbel's animation is near perfect.

Nothing like seeing cute chipmunks being killed in horrible ways first thing on a Friday. The fur is all wrong though.

    I'm not a hippy but....
I just read that Haliburtonis moving its HQ from Hoston to Dubai to avoid paying taxes (specifically American taxes). To put that in perspective, Haliburton was once headed by current vice president Dick Cheney, they made an estimated an estimated $25.7B for its work in Iraq and every American pays $1,500 for the war in Iraq.
Quite funny from an Irishman's point of view.

No one told me it was Pancake Tuesday!
I suddenly feel so very homesick. No one offered me pancakes today, no talk of what people are giving up for lent. It dawned on me this is the first pancake Tuesday that I haven't been in Ireland. I have also been insanely busy, worked til past 3:00am last night and still feel I didn't get much done so it looks like another late one tonight. To remedy this I'm gonna go put ashes on my forehead tomorrow like the proper hypocritical lapsed Catholic I am. I am also gonna buy an Irish flag for St.Patricks day, start listening to Luke Kelly and tell everyone that the Guinness in Ireland is far better despite the fact they say its all brewed in Dublin anyway. Actually I already do the latter.
Damn I'm busy, I've had to stop writing this three times to help people with their computers and I'm doing this course to get out off IT support. In other news facebook is good but more on that when I have time.
    Slan.

Okay so I don’t know everything about this language but I know enough. What I do know is it is a really nice language for simple scripting things especially if you hate Perl and bash which I do.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the cinema
I was looking for some information on a film and I saw Flight of the Dead. Its like Snakes on a Plane but with Zombies. The imagination in Hollywood is just mind blowing.

    How low can I go?
Amsterdam plus vfx and add some Nike advertising money and you get a pretty damn freaky demoreel, check out post panic.
So its official I've got an unconditional offer to do a MSc in Computer Animation in England in September, now I have to kill 6 months. Haven't got any money to travel and most graduate positions take have nearly 6 months training. Being a runner for 6 months would be brillant (actually might try those Amsterdam guys) but any other suggestions are welcome.

    Ah bollox
It turns out V for Vendetta is crap,(see D for Vendetta I don't like to base thing on one reviewer but he seems to make sense. I recently had another look at the original graphic novel and its really great stuff. Probably Moore's finest work. Ah well, happy St. Patrick day.

    X-MEN 3 looks cool
Just saw the trailer for X-Men 3 and it looks pretty cool. Go Joss Whedon. A very bizarre conversation about the film held by the gay actors in ti can be found here. Hugh Jackman is a cool Wolverine but he sings show tunes the rest of the year.

Is Reese Witherspoon having people killed?
What could be more American then the superbowl, well superbowl ads of course. Beer, junk food, suvs and more beer. The v for vendetta one is pretty cool. Oh yeah and Steelers won wooooooh! Look at previous posts I am a steelers fan, yes I couldn't name one player, wait Trevor something, no its gone.
Oh and the Reese Witherspoon story can be found here. It doesn't prove anything but I wouldn't fuck with her. They couldn't identify the body he was that badly beaten, cold.

    Gay cowboys eating pudding
Just looking at the Oscar nominations and it is the most bizarre selection ever. Crash was a good film but William Hurt in a History of Violence (one of the few films I've seen on the list) wtf, he's in it few five minutes were he (intentionally) hams it up and plays it for laughs. I actually like that film though. Maybe I haven't been following movie news as of late but the whole thing just seems so random and more to do with the politics of Hollywood then anything else. I'm still not watching Rawhide Mountain, not 'cause I'm a homophobe (I've got gay friends who scare me) but because it just looks sooo boooring, ride him or don't jeez who cares.
And that's my insightful comments for today.

Update: A recent conversation I had with my Dad,
Dad:Maybe we should go see that cowboy film that's gonna win all the oscars
Me; Its about two gay guys
Dad: We won't be watching that then.
